This is a guide

While trying to put together a Vampire the Masqeurade chronicle I found that the currect core rule book and associated resources provided were a little confusing and hard to search through especially for new players. Further when searching through the provided resources I noted that some areas were difficult to understand or missing entirely especially from the perspecitve of someone following the "make a vampire" guide provided by white wolf.

To take some of that burden off of my players I decided to compile essential knowledge into this wiki, essentially the goal is to note all the pain-points that popped up for us when we tried to play or create characters. In order to do this, this wiki pulls information from more than just the core rule book.

The source books covered in this wiki to represent a feature-complete version of vampire 5 are:

• The Core Rule Book
• Cults of the blood gods
• Chicago by night

What exactly does this wiki cover and what will it never cover?

• This wiki is not intended as a replacement for any of the given source books and as such will only contain information considered core, mechanical or essential.
  
• High level concepts already available on third party wikis will be included for example: clans; disciplines; world building information; core factions; concepts; mechanics; core lore; generic enemies.
• This wiki will not include story material for public use unless they are original creations of my own or example scenarios provided to illustrate a mechanic or idea.
• Again this is not a replacement for the books listed and I do not want it to be, it is meant only to organise already accessible knowledge into a more understandable format rather than infringe on the copyright of White Wolf, this is why stories will be purposely excluded. For example if you want to play Chicago by night you will have to purchase the source book however if you simply want to play a Lasombra clan kindred in another story then you will be able to find that clan information here as compiled from other online wiki's and the Chicago by night source book itself.
